Buying a car isn't always a pleasant process, and buying a car during a global chip shortage has been one of the most miserable car buying experiences of my life - until Cedar Park Nissan. I called around to roughly 10 dealers across the state. CP Nissan had by far the best pricing, their add-ons seemed valuable and reasonable pricing (window tint, wheel locks, etc.). And they didn't add on a few extra grand just because they could. Which several other dealers were doing. I knew exactly which car I wanted, and the sales person, Derek Butler, was willing to work with me over the phone, send me a deal sheet online via their Acceleride tool (which is cool for folks who appreciate things like that), and I only had to go to the dealer for less than 30 minutes to sign final paperwork. No sitting in a small room for hours while a salesperson went back and forth to "talk to his manager." Derek was really easy to work with, and I had called around enough to know I was getting a fair / good price. I highly recommend working with CP Nissan and Derek specifically. I didn't have a trade-in and I was already pre-approved with financing from a credit union. So it was a seamless transaction. I also purchased a NEW 2022 Kicks SR for a lower price than a 2020 Kick S (base model). So it's one of those crazy times when a new car can make more sense than a used car. For context - I am a woman and I loathe being mansplained or treated like I don't know what i am doing. Derek was very professional, efficient, good communication style, positive attitude, with zero smarminess. Highly recommend Derek and Nissan CP!
